Running in the muddy pumpkin patchAl took the day off and we had a wonderfully sunny day at a local farm. They had a huge pumpkin patch, playground, petting zoo, and even a a huge play pen full of dried corn to jump in. There was also a corn maze but we thought it would be too much for the little ones. We went with Luke's buddies Jack and Ruby.
When we carved the pumpkins (sorry, no pictures. Our hands were too messy), Luke thought the seeds and pumpkin insides were "gross". He was amazed when they were all lit up with candles. "Mommy, there's fire in dare!"
