We love this park. It's huge and spread out over 3 levels: a playground, trails/wooded area, and a beach. As you can see above, we were having fun on the dinosaur.

Weeee!

He picked me a flower

He loves to climb up the slide. I used to try and stop him ("up the stairs, down the slide") but, it's a losing battle.

spring flowers

Pretending to be bears

Everything is a brilliant green (guess that makes sense since it's the Emerald City)

Cool old hollowed out tree

This bridge takes you over the railroad tracks (another bonus for Luke) and down a long set of twirly stairs to the beach.

Crabs at from the beach. We also found hermit crabs and took a few home. They didn't even live one day. Lesson: don't take animals/bugs/creatures home (no matter how much Luke begs) they will die.

Lots of driftwood on Washington beaches. There is always a fort of some sort but you should always check for "trash".

Kissing the crabs. (yuck) We used to take Lucy here and she LOVED it but she gets an ear infection every time she plays in the water :(

Me in the distance. Views of the near by islands.... Whidbey on the left and a private island on the right.
